I am searching for some help in developing an commercial application.
I have outsourced some parts of my application as independent development tasks.
The tasks are developed as standalone (console) application.
Source will be exchanged via svn.
It should run on Windows, Linux and Mac (Mac less priority).
The tasks are (more to come in the future):
1. Benchmark function to get machine speed.
multi-threading, mostly float operations, some memory, some int.
2. Really basic light-weight html server.
-Get the name of the site requested by the browser.
-Return a html page to browser.
-Authorisation required (auth info cached for session, login can change during session, if a different site is requested)
3. Create Video
Create a compressed (lossy) avi/mov from RGB memory buffer.
Init(length...), NextFrame(bufferX), Exit()
Developed console app needs to run on all OS platforms without installing anything.
Quicktime .mov preferred. Result prefered to be playable on any Quickime player without installing plugins. Third-party source allowed as long as it can used in commercial apps.
4. Python implementation research
My app uses a C++ struct (const memory size, about 50-100 variables of all different kinds)
The UI application to develop displays the values in a table.
The user is able to select a .py Python script file.
A developed class gets the python script and pointer to the struct.
The python script reads/writes from/to this c++ struct.
